While the case for diversity is well accepted, most firms struggle with it’s implementation. The problem is complex, the challenges are many and the results are typically sub-optimal. The advent of AI, analytics and keyword based selection tools is intensifying existing biases. The unintended consequence of this is low screening ratios that cement the popular notion within enterprises that the lack of pipeline is responsible for the lack of gender diversity in technology. The current model of hiring simply doesn't work for firms or for women.

At Meytier, we’ve built an AI and Analytics based solution to (1) minimize unintended, unconscious bias in enterprise hiring; and (2) help firms expand the pipeline of women candidates that make it through their screening process. We also have an offline search model to ensure that we make a real impact by helping firms hire more women.

Rena Nigam
Founder & CEO
Rena Nigam is an entrepreneur and a specialist in building and scaling firms that focus on the re-imagination of businesses through technology. Through 2018, Rena was President and Board Member at Incedo, a fast-growing firm focused on Data Analytics and Emerging Technologies. In 2011, she co-founded a Digital Transformation focused firm called Aspark, which was sold to LiquidHub (acquired by CapGemini in 2018).

Rena started her career at Standard Chartered Bank and then spent over a decade as one of the early employees at Mphasis, a Financial Services focused technology services firm. In her last role at Mphasis, she was on the Executive team as the global head of their largest unit, Banking & Capital Markets. Rena is a computer engineering graduate from the University of Bombay with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
