Orion is looking for a dynamic Finance Director to lead our India Finance function along with few strategic global functions. This role reports to the Global CFO.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Finance position is accountable for the administrative, financial accounting, Corporate Planning function (FP&A) and Business Finance functions of the company. This includes the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

The candidate should have:

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, Business Finance, Controllership, Financial Planning and India Statutory within IT Services industry
  • Experience in yearly Budgeting and Target Setting, Monthly Forecasting, Strategic Modeling (Short term/Long term), Management Reporting, Corporate Dashboard, Competitive Bench Marking across companies, M&A activities etc.
  • Seamlessly managed diverse functions including financial planning & analysis (at the global level), reporting (Indian GAAP, USGAAP knowledge is an advantage), corporate finance, strategic initiatives, cost control, and profitability improvement.
  • Previously worked as a Business Financial analyst responsible for deal pricing and deal modelling, submission of RFP's ,business support, revenue and cost forecast.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Develop financial and tax strategies
  • Prior experience in implementing operational best practices for Margin improvement
  • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Establishing Global Functions like FP&A, Business Finance, Finance Back office
  • Excellent analytical abilities and a strong capability to think critically
  • Finance department transformation by use of right operating model and technology adoption
  • A self-driven individual contributor who can take initiatives to get things done, and drive/manage the relevant teams
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and people management skills

A successful applicant should be a Chartered Accountant (preferred) with 12-15 years of experience overseeing all areas of India finance and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
