Ascendum is looking for an IT Support Specialist to perform tasks related to desktop projects, inventory management and procurement, and machine buildout/imaging/cleaning. A strong candidate is driven by results and has experience providing operational support tasks for various projects.
Candidate should have a high-level understanding of simple networking services and Windows 10 administration at an enterprise level. Oversee management of equipment and parts inventory and coordinate delivery with end-users and managers. Is expected to be able to perform support tasks with minimal supervision.
Desired Profile:
Excellent written and verbal business communication skills with ability to concisely communicate issues to management, users, and peers
Previous experience with identifying and overseeing device management and ordering hardware and IT related products for on-boarding/off-boarding of corporate employees
In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 support & technical troubleshooting skills
Experience with Apple/Mac hardware and administering/supporting Mac OS X in an enterprise environment
Working knowledge/experience of PC imaging and remote-control support tools for provisioning of company equipment
Maintain a professional work ethic & demeanor
Candidate must be reliable, on-time and able to complete tasks by target dates
Experience working with Microsoft Intune a plus
Administration/support of mobile devices a plus
Audio/Visual experience, video conference support and Skype, Zoom, MS Teams a plus
Working knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SCCM
Ability to lift and carry boxes containing computer equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
Speech and hearing required for telephone communication
Mobile position which will intermittently require physical setup and installation of workstations and equipment under and around desks
Ability to lift and work on equipment that may be located in tight and poorly lighted spaces, such as under desks, in closets, or other confined areas
Intermittent travel between company locations in the greater Cincinnati area will be required
