Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for the visual, navigation, and interaction design for leading-edge web solutions and mobile applications. Applies user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into best in class user experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solving design challenges and producing high-quality UX and visual design solutions
Create, and evaluate, multiple experiential/organizational modals
Design for simplicity and ease of use – with ability to gain user feedback and to ongoing iterative User Research.
Create simple data visualizations, both interactive and static
Design both web and native mobile apps. Establish design conventions that go across devices.
Support supplementary design requirements, such as preparing comps for presentations
Strong communication skills that enable smooth work style with other designers, directors, digital product managers, technology teams and vendors
Produce detailed guidelines that explain interactions and product experiences
Ability to create iterative light designs (sketches) to drive collaboration and feedback
Work within both an agile and waterfall operational methods
Expert use of design tools; Sketch, Illustrator, Principle, After Effects, InVision, and Photoshop. Proficiency with Figma, Origami and/or Framer is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

Online portfolio demonstrating excellence in thought and execution
BA/BS in a design discipline – highly preferred in human computer interaction
7+ years of experience including 5+ years working in a consumer facing design capacity; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Master’s degree preferred
