Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for the visual, navigation, and interaction design for leading-edge web solutions and mobile applications. Applies user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into best in class user experiences.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Solving design challenges and producing high-quality UX and visual design solutions
  • Create, and evaluate, multiple experiential/organizational modals
  • Design for simplicity and ease of use – with ability to gain user feedback and to ongoing iterative User Research.
  • Create simple data visualizations, both interactive and static
  • Design both web and native mobile apps. Establish design conventions that go across devices.
  • Support supplementary design requirements, such as preparing comps for presentations
  • Strong communication skills that enable smooth work style with other designers, directors, digital product managers, technology teams and vendors
  • Produce detailed guidelines that explain interactions and product experiences
  • Ability to create iterative light designs (sketches) to drive collaboration and feedback
  • Work within both an agile and waterfall operational methods
  • Expert use of design tools; Sketch, Illustrator, Principle, After Effects, InVision, and Photoshop. Proficiency with Figma, Origami and/or Framer is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Online portfolio demonstrating excellence in thought and execution
  • BA/BS in a design discipline – highly preferred in human computer interaction
  • 7+ years of experience including 5+ years working in a consumer facing design capacity; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Master’s degree preferred
