The role involves:</span></span><br /></p><ul style=\"orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; widows: 2\"><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Expert, hands-on engineering of high-value, net-new platform capabilities</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Initial technical design and framework engineering for net-new components and significant refactoring efforts</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Work with Solution Architect and Engineering Leads to implement technical architecture direction for the platform</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Establishment of fundamental and foundational technical patterns and principles for all engineering work</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Mentoring and coaching of fellow engineers</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Senior advocate for craftsmanship and quality for the engineering team</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Participate as a senior technology leader in key roadmap, assessment and priority discussions</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Review completed engineering work for adherence to best practices and team policies</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Accountability for technical optimization of the product architecture and execution in collaboration with engineering leadership</span></span><br /></li><li style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"align-justify\"><span style=\"\"><span style=\"\">Primary resolution escalation points for high priority/visibility product and operational issues</span></span><br /></li></ul><div class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Desired Profile:</b><br /></div><ul><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>10+ years deep hands-on experience, building custom platforms from scratch to production <br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Expert proficiency with development using Spring framework<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Expert proficiency with core Java API development including JavaScript development (jQuery, JSON, EventAPIs)<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Expert proficiency with developing APIs, Apache Camel or other EBA, Microservices development (REST &amp; SOAP)<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proficiency with Azure cloud infrastructure.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proficiency with Oracle 11g<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proficiency in designing (includes documentation), developing, testing, and implementing Java applications on a predefined schedule using technologies, techniques, and tools to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability, at varying levels of complexity<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proficiency in resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proficiency in system analysis and design in accordance with established procedures and policies<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Provides an accurate estimate of time needed to complete work<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proficiency in working with high-performing technology teams in a multi-technology enterprise.<br /></span></li></ul><div class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><br /></div></span><br />","isRemoteJob":true,"noOfOpenings":1,"maxExperience":"12","minExperience":"10","onBehalfOfName":"Ascendum","otherlocations":[],"zohoCurrencyIn":"USD","experienceLevel":"Mid / Senior","zohoNoOfOpenings":{"noOfOpenings":1,"fulfillmentIds":["557706000011688130-1"]},"otherJobReference":null,"sharpenedJobTitle":"Technical Architect","job_category_group":3,"portalLocationDisplay":"Remote","expertise_coreskill_or_product":["Other"],"job_id":"2295"}
