Our client is hiring a Director of Business Development to drive qualified pipeline growth, unlock new market opportunities, and cultivate strategic partnerships that elevate their brand and reach. This position leads top-of-funnel engagement and plays a critical role in converting institutional and partnership prospects into lasting client relationships. They're looking for a dynamic individual who understands the luxury consumer, brings strategic agility, relationship-building prowess, and a competitive edge, and has a proven track record of driving results in a consultative sales environment.


Desired profile:

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in luxury, education, or high-touch service-based industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with schools, private communities, clubs, and professional associations with an emphasis on long-cycle relationship development. International experience is a plus.
  • Strong presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to translate market insights into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to craft and present compelling value propositions tailored to high-net-worth clients or institutions
  • Highly adaptable with a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
  • A global perspective and the ability to engage confidently with international partner


Key responsibilities:

  • Seek out and develop strategic partnership opportunities with schools, private membership communities, clubs, and professional organizations to expand visibility.
  • Conduct market research, strategic outreach (including cold calling, networking, etc.)to identify decision-makers and generate leads.
  • Develop customized presentations, proposals, and service offerings tailored to prospective partners in collaboration with marketing and enrollment colleagues, as needed.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring proactive and timely follow-ups and accurate CRM tracking to maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle
  • Achieve and/or exceed sales targets as defined by an incentive plan while upholding our high-touch, relationship-first ethos
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and enrollment teams to align efforts, share insights, and maximize business opportunities.
  • Continually experience with, test and refine outreach and positioning strategies based on data and prospect feedback.
  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape.


Compensation range: Base salary of $100,000 plus performance-based bonuses
