WinWire is looking for Associate Director - Delivery based in Bangalore or Hyderabad in the hot, growing market of Cloud and Data/AI related IT services leveraging Microsoft Azure. Desired Profile:

  • Overall 17 to 20 years of experience with majority in mid-size IT services firms
  • At least 10 years of experience successfully managing onsite-offshore based delivery for development projects in Application Development/ Cloud Modernization/ Data Modernization using Microsoft Technology stack
  • Owned P&L of $5+Million Revenue in an onsite-offshore delivery execution model
  • Exceptional relationship building and management skills to deliver superior services
  • Responsible to drive Strategic Initiatives as part of Continuous Improvement for Account Growth
  • Drive Operation Excellence to bring improvements in Margin, Productivity, Utilization and Pyramid aligning to organization goals.
  • Ability to understand WinWire eco-system to drive delivery led growth


Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Management

  1. Be responsible for smooth execution of all the development projects
  2. Reviews with the Delivery/ Program/ Project Managers for project reviews, risks evaluation and tracking issues on a weekly basis
  3. Publish Account Updates on: Project Delivery, People, Customer, Opportunities, Strategic Initiatives.
  4. Conduct regular connects with the customer’s point-of-contact for project feedback/issues/ escalation and establishing a good relationship
  5. Be WinWire project team's point of contact for project-specific internal or customer escalation/ follow ups by building suitable dashboards and status addressing the concerns
  6. Be Customer Champion by constantly analyzing and engaging to manage the needs and concerns of various stakeholders within the account. 
  7. Be aware of customer delivery process and suggest necessary internal changes to the delivery process to align with the customer’s process
  8. Support India and US hiring team with interview process and smooth onboarding of the selected candidates
  9. Own and maintain Account Playbook with regular updates
  10. Experience in one of the technical areas is nice to have,   
  11. Must have worked on at least 5+ large scale projects building solutions for Data Pipelines (using ADF, Data Lake, Synapse), Data warehousing, Data Modeling on Azure Data Platform (AWS and GCP are good to have) and scalable high performance reporting solution using Power BI.

OR

  1. Must have worked on at least 5+ large scale projects focusing on digital transformation, product engineering using Microsoft Tech Stack, Cloud modernization or Modern Workspace solutions

 

Account Management

  1. Work with the Account Manager & delivery team on any new opportunity in the Account and review the Opportunity closure plan
  2. Proactively update the Account Management team of any changes at the customer end
  3. Build and establish relationship with existing and new contacts within and across departments at the customer location 
  4. Initiate, prepare and actively participate in the Monthly and Quarterly Business Review meeting with the customer
  5. Manage P&L for the accounts with respect to Revenue, Gross Margin and operational excellence covering the resource utilization, bench and billing
  6. Keep WinWire Management team updated of any customer escalation/ concerns/ issues at the project as well as account level
  7. Initiate and Track hiring request with the Hiring Team for all hiring positions (Projects and Consulting) for the account and be responsible for closure of the positions
  8. Track and follow up on all the existing project extensions (EE) and get SOWs created in a timely manner

 

Technical Competency

  1. Be well-versed with Microsoft Technology landscape at Level 200
  2. Understand the customer technology landscape to provide necessary guidance to the delivery team
  3. Organize Brown Bag sessions/envisions sessions for demonstrating WinWire Technical capabilities in the areas the customer is interested in and/or need help

 

People Management

  1. Track hiring, preboarding and joining of resources (FTE/ Contract) hired for various engagements
  2. Ensure new resources are engaged and mentored well to bring them to WinWire culture at the earliest
  3. Conduct regular 1:1 with the senior team members to mentor/ track/act on specific concerns
  4. Work with the L&D department for training needs specific to customer projects and track it to closure
  5. Work with the HR department for any concerns raised by the team members
  6. Identify performing team members for Spot Award, Quarterly Award and Annual Award
  7. Encourage team members to be part of WinWire events like Brown Bag sessions, Friday events (as applicable)
