Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 15–20 years in IT Services/Consulting, with significant focus on Retail & Consumer verticals (Retail, eCommerce, CPG, Consumer Tech).
  • Business Leadership: Proven track record of scaling a segment or business unit
  • Client Management: Strong network and experience managing CXO-level relationships in the Retail & Consumer space.
  • Solutions Knowledge: Exposure to technology-led transformation—Cloud, Data/AI, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and ERP modernization.
  • Mindset: Strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, with hands-on execution capability.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth & Strategy
  • Define and drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Retail & Consumer segment in alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with global clients, while expanding relationships with existing accounts.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to position the company as a partner of choice in Retail & Consumer technology transformation.
  • Client Engagement & Thought Leadership
  • Build trusted C-level relationships with clients, understanding their business priorities and positioning relevant solutions.
  • Act as a thought leader, representing the company at industry events, panels, and client forums.
  • Partner with alliance teams (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.) to co-create industry-relevant solutions.
  • P&L Ownership & Delivery Oversight
  • Own the P&L for the Retail & Consumer segment with clear accountability for revenue, margin, and growth.
  • Oversee delivery governance to ensure high-quality, on-time, and value-driven execution.
  • Work closely with delivery leaders to align customer expectations, solution roadmaps, and innovation agendas.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of sales, account management, and delivery leaders.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Create career development opportunities and ensure the BU becomes a talent magnet for top industry professionals.
