We are seeking a seasoned Data & AI Sales Specialist with 15–18 years of experience who combines sales acumen with strong technical grounding. This individual will work closely with regional or industry-aligned business units to identify client challenges, shape solution proposals, and drive new opportunities. The role requires a smart communicator who can engage deeply with customers, frame business problems, and collaborate with solution teams to bring Data & AI initiatives to life.


This is a consultative, client-facing role designed for someone who can move seamlessly between strategic conversations with business leaders and detailed technical discussions with client teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Partner with regional/industry business units to drive Data & AI revenue opportunities.
  • Engage directly with customers to identify challenges and convert them into proactive proposals and solution recommendations.
  • Support RFPs, proposals, and client workshops with a blend of sales and technical expertise.
  • Customer Engagement & Consulting
  • Conduct client discovery sessions to uncover business priorities and align Data & AI solutions.
  • Present value propositions and solution roadmaps that connect technology to measurable business outcomes.
  • Act as a thought leader, representing the organization’s vision in industry forums and client discussions.
  • Solution Collaboration
  • Work with Data & AI architects, solution teams, and account teams to co-create offerings and accelerators.
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutioning, ensuring proposals are actionable and impactful.
  • Leverage partnerships with cloud and product companies to strengthen solution positioning.
  • Industry & Thought Leadership
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging Data & AI technologies.
  • Share insights and thought leadership internally and externally to strengthen the company’s market presence.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients navigating their Data & AI transformation journey.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 15–18 years in IT services / consulting, with a blend of sales, business development, and technical solutioning experience.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark), and AI/ML/GenAI concepts.
  • Client Engagement: Proven track record in pre-sales, client presentations, and executive-level communications.
  • Business Impact: Ability to contextualize technical solutions into clear business outcomes and ROI.
  • Industry Knowledge: Exposure to multiple verticals (e.g., financial services, healthcare, manufacturing) with ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific challenges.
  • Soft Skills: Smart communicator, multitasker, self-starter with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Added Advantage: Hands-on past technical experience and familiarity with partnering with technical product/cloud companies.
