This role will provide thought leadership to customers and project teams from both technology and project execution aspects with a clear goal of delivery excellence. It must look for and provide value-add and enable new business opportunities, support the account team for overall growth of the account. The role is expected to manage customer communication efficiently and resolve conflict (both internal and external), mentor and coach the respective practice/delivery team members.


This individual must have played technology role (Architect, Lead, Engineer) where she/he has led the design/implementation of several complex data-oriented solutions on Azure Data Platform with multiple integrations and reporting needs.


Key Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related stream from a reputable institution
  • 20+ years of total IT experience with at least 10+ years working in Data/Analytics projects and at least 5 years managing medium to large Data/Analytics projects
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Platform
  • Experience in leveraging Agentic AI in automation and solution building
  • Must have worked on several projects (at least 10+) building solutions for Data Pipelines, Data warehousing, Data Modelling on Azure Data Platform (AWS and GCP are good to have)
  • Experience in design and development of Data integration solutions using Azure data service, Databricks
  • Experience working with Data Lake, Lake house and Data Mesh following Medallion or equivalent architecture
  • Experience in Data Modelling for storage and consumption
  • Strong SQL/Pyspark programming experience
  • Experience in building scalable high performance reporting solution using Power BI, in both shared and dedicated capacity
  • Strong experience working in an Onsite-Offshore model
  • Superior problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, influencing, communicating, and consulting skills, team/interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills; works well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Key Responsibilities :

People First

  • Involve in the hiring process that includes creating job descriptions, initial screening, shortlisting, and interviewing the candidates for lead and architect cadres
  • Define and track Competency development plan for team members, provide guidance as and when required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others from any functional area or background, to influence thinking and gain acceptance
  • Should collaborate with Delivery and Project Managers to understand the concerns raised on the practice team members
  • Work with the L&D team to define, drive and track readiness of the identified new/ upcoming cutting-edge technologies (Trainees to Architects)
  • Mentor and coach direct reportees to handle people from people and performance management
  • Guide and drive team members to be part of WinWire events like Brown Bag sessions, Friday events (as applicable)
  • Identify performing team members for Spot Award, Quarterly Award and Annual Award
  • Be responsible for practice team member’s mid-year and annual performance management and be involved in the annual appraisal cycle
  • Work with HR team to initiate Performance Improvement Program (PIP) for the non-performing team members as per the organization policies.

Technology Leadership

  • Support onsite pre-sales team for the newer opportunities by means of technical solution review/ feasibility, effort estimation
  • Define technology adoption and governance process for the new or upcoming cutting-edge technologies
  • Execute Assessment and Discovery Engagement from offshore/ onsite as part of presales activity
  • Define review process for all development, infrastructure and assessment projects as part of TQA process
  • Demonstrate skills by building demo-able solutions and proof of concepts
  • Participate and contribute in events, conferences and webinars to share insights on the identified technology areas.
  • Provide necessary technical assistance/ review to support automation of WinWire’s internal processes

Execution Excellence

  • Demonstrate Tech Leadership in discussions with delivery team and customer to ensure delivery of the most effective solutions for the identified business objectives
  • Proactively conduct and own Technical Quality Assurance (TQA) review of all the strategic projects
  • Conduct regular connects with the Delivery point-of-contact for project feedback/issues/ escalation and establishing a good relationship
  • Regular connects with Architect and Leads to assess project health and risks
  • Own technical escalation review meetings and provide necessary inputs to the account team for speedy closure of the escalation
  • Work with the Resource Management team in identifying the technical team for starting a new project/ executing existing project
  • Identify skills required for the technical team to perform well in their roles and collaborate with Learning & Development team to upskill them
  • Should own and work with the Delivery team on GO-GREEN plan for any RED/AMBER projects due to Technical Quality.

Compensation Range: 65L -70L
