Our client is seeking a high-impact Sales Hunter to drive net-new business across the Pharma and Clinical Research ecosystem. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), and positioning our digital engineering, data, cloud and AI-led capabilities to enable R&D and clinical transformation. This is a pure hunting role responsible for opening new accounts, creating pipeline from the ground up and converting opportunities into sustained revenue growth within a highly regulated life sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive net-new logo acquisition across Pharma, Biopharma and Clinical Research organizations aligned to our industry strategy.
Develop and execute proactive hunting motions to build pipeline across R&D, Clinical Trials, Data & AI, Digital Engineering and Cloud transformation initiatives.
Establish executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of Clinical and Data leaders across Life Sciences accounts.
Own the full sales lifecycle including prospecting, opportunity qualification, solution positioning, commercial structuring, and deal closure.
Identify whitespace opportunities across Pharma, emerging biotech firms and CRO ecosystems to expand our footprint.
Collaborate closely with consulting, pre-sales, alliances and delivery teams to craft differentiated, domain-led solutions.
Lead complex deal pursuits, including executive presentations, value articulation, pricing strategy and contract negotiations
Position our digital engineering, AI/GenAI and data capabilities to address clinical research and R&D transformation priorities
Build sustainable pipeline through industry networking, executive outreach, partner ecosystems, and targeted market engagement
Maintain disciplined pipeline governance, forecasting accuracy and CRM hygiene aligned to enterprise sales processes.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Hunter / New Logo Sales Leader within IT Services, Digital Engineering or Consulting organizations.
Demonstrated success selling into Pharma, Biotech, or Clinical Research organizations.
Strong understanding of clinical research lifecycle, regulatory environments (GxP) and digital transformation in Life Sciences
Track record of building multi-million-dollar pipelines and closing complex enterprise deals
Experience operating within established global services firms or high-growth digital engineering companies
Experience selling Data, AI, Cloud or Digital Engineering solutions into Life Sciences accounts
Strong executive network within Pharma R&D, Clinical Operations or Digital leadership teams is highly preferred
Ability to balance consultative selling with proactive hunting in a hybrid GTM model.
