The business analyst will be responsible for working closely with the internal technology and front-office teams responsible for order generation, decision support, and trading of orders related to quantitative strategies.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience working with Charles River – configuring, enhancing or implementing the CRIMS platform for a global asset manager in a front office capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with technology, business and operations teams to research and implement front office solutions as it relates to a Charles River CRIMS implementation
Analyze and evaluate business requirements while working with Investment management and trading teams, to ensure business needs are met in a pro-active fashion
Experience working with senior & project management, end users, and project stakeholders to define best practices
Work in a dynamic environment, partnering with fast-paced agile teams, to deliver quality software solutions to complex business problems
Desired Profile:
Hands-on experience configuring, enhancing, and implementing Charles River IMS (CRIMS) versions 20R1 and higher (SaaS deployment preferred)
Experience building Charles River Workflow Rules, Dynamic Views, and tradescreens (MWB, Blotter…)
Understanding of front office equity workflows, from portfolio construction all the way through execution
Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects at once
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to gather requirements for projects in financial sector
Convey plans, issues, and concerns in a clear, logical and concise manner. Ability to influence key decision makers, both internally and externally
Self-motivated candidate who can work as an individual contributor and collaboratively with the team

Understanding of CRD application architecture and relational database structures. Familiarity with SQL, FIX and Crystal reports is a plus
