About the Role:
  • Exavalu Program/Project Managers work with clients on Guidewire Projects. This role works closely with those projects in program and are responsible for understanding the program and the components of the program.
  • The program manager provides management oversight and leadership and is responsible for ensuring that the program’s benefits are realized and is delivery of the program is successful.
  • The program manager would be work with multiple project streams and manage dependencies across those multiple project streams. Program Manager is responsible for management risks and issues.
  • The program manager should have excellent understanding of the methodology for program/project management; this includes implementation methodologies like Agile and have Enterprise level implementations.
  • The role works closely with client sponsors, leadership team and steering committees.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of program at the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget.
  • Deliver program in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements.
  • Plan and monitor program/project progress, issue resolution and manage escalations timely; manage dependencies; manage risks and plan appropriate for mitigation.
  • Establish, lead, and manage the engagement delivery.
  • Manage the scope change control process.
  • Manage Quality Assurance as it relates to the components of the program as well as other interfaces; manage to technical and business standards.
  • Manage the program's budget, monitor expenditure, and costs against delivered and realized benefits for the program.
  • Manage Resource management as well as retention of the team.
  • Manage communication plan as defined with appropriate type and communication channel.
  • Manage communications with all stakeholders.
  • Report on the status of the Program/Project per Communication Plan.
Desired Profile:
  • 7-10 years of implementation experience
  • 5-7 years of program/project management experience
  • Experience leading enterprise technology implementations using Agile methodology.
  • Solid knowledge of program/project management methods such as PMP as well as Agile/SaFe methodologies.
  • Ability to demonstrate advance project management skills across planning, controlling, and monitoring projects.
  • Ability to work with all levels of organization (executive; etc.)
  • Ability to manage Change Control and possess negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage large multi-functional projects including software package implementations.
  • Understand Cloud technology and processes.
  • Ability to capture problems early and resolve timely.
  • Ability to work with teams across multiple geographic locations.
  • Build out and maintain resource plans.
  • Experience with working with Statement of Works; preparing and presenting presentations.
  • Work with teams on personnel issues; deal with underperforming resources; provide mentoring and guidance to teams.
  • Shows a track record of building effective cross functional teams across multiple geographic locations.
  • Capable of evaluating team members for positions in the program/project.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Has agile certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scaled Agilest (SA)
  • Experience with Project Management tools: Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project, Jira, Rally, Miro, Mind maps, Excel; Word; PowerPoint
  • P&C Insurance experience
  • Guidewire Implementation Experience
  • Cloud Technology Experience
  • BS or BA degree required.
