Magic EdTech is looking for a dynamic sales leader to continue to accelerate its growth. Over the past few years, Magic EdTech has seen exponential growth and is looking to hire senior leaders to amplify the same.


Head of Business Development & Sales will represent the market leading Digital Learning Products division of Magic EdTech globally. This leadership role will own the whole process to win happy customers, from identifying prospects in the market, building suitable partnerships, helping identify alternate segments and areas where these products can be sold, to generating sustainable revenue for the business.


Location: New York/Washington DC preferred or remote


Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is generating revenue; product sales; SAAS platform License sales/contracts.
  • Overall accountability of sales and revenue growth for the Magic Products, including self and sales team targets.
  • Build a strong annuity revenue stream to ensure recurring revenue.
  • Generate leads through networking, campaigns, and other channels like Events/Conferences
  • Drive sales strategy for winning large enterprise customers and help the team refine, execute on their account strategies and plans.
  • Partner with the marketing team to devise strategies to gain brand recognition, thought leadership, and leads
  • Partner with the customer success and product team to develop strategies, roadmap for customer retention and increasing market share.

Desired Profile:

  • ​Exposure in managing Institutional/corporate (B2B) product sales in either Education or corporate training is a must
  • Functional Knowledge of technology to be able to answer questions about the product
  • Rolodex, past experience of generating leads/sales in Professionals Services/ Learning and Education businesses.
  • Experience in selling SAAS/Cloud/Product sales, License contracts, Implementation / Professional Services and solutions.
  • Hands on Experience to price a solution, write proposals, do presentations, and negotiations.​
