The ideal candidate will have atleast 4 years solid experience with Pyramid Analytics, and overall experience of atleast 8-10 years.
Expert level SQL (Schema Design, Stored Procedures, Triggers, mid-level performance tuning of SQL) skills against RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle; Strong Data Analysis skills and Business Intelligence foundation.
Should be able to use SQL to perform any data massaging to build the Pyramid Analytics reports and dashboards. Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who create Pyramid Analytics applications.
Strong problem-solving skills; given a business problem, candidate should be able to relate it at a high level to Tables & Joins.
Currently working on Pyramid Analytics projects, with hands-on experience delivering high performing Reporting solutions and Dashboards.
Define best practices for modeling design, development and migration.
Participate in design reviews of prototypes, and applications ready for production.
Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who create applications.
Develop, maintain, and enhance guidelines for overall architecture design, Pyramid Analytics Model design, Pyramid Analytics performance tuning, Security design, etc.
Optimization of data model for performance.
Communicate and perform training related to architecture standards.
Act as the Pyramid Analytics subject matter expert and assist developers with complex technical challenges.
Pyramid Analytics Dashboard Design & Development.
Optimize Query Performance, Advanced scripting and Integrate data from multiple data sources into Pyramid Analytics.
Can talk competently about the Pyramid Analytics infrastructure, how it needs to be configured, particularly with regards to sizing and roll out.
Intimate familiarity and experience with multidimensional modeling techniques, all charts and graphs to determine best one to use for a given business situation.
Expert level SQL skills against RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata.
Experience in Snowflake is a Plus.
Strong Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse foundation.
Background in other BI/ Data Visualization techniques and tools such as QlikSense, Tableau is a plus.
Client facing / onsite experience & excellent Communication - Verbal and Written.
Ability to quickly translate user requirement in to Dimensions and Measures in Pyramid Analytics and build a Pyramid Analytics model and reports.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
8 -10 years overall IT industry delivery experience, skills and competencies.
4 years designing and building Business Intelligence solutions using information delivery suites such as Pyramid Analytics.
Candidate must have good knowledge on a range of BI tools (Pyramid Analytics, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts.
