Key Responsibilities:
Drive successful implementation of cots software packages (insurancenow, exigen, exceed) for P&C insurance.
Take full ownership of feature implementation from initiation until implementation.
Analyze customer needs and pain points and devise solutions that fit cots P&C insurance software package being implemented.
Define solution approach and design for cots P&C insurance software package implementations. Design it application flows for quoting, binding, policy administration, and claims handling to fulfill business needs within the boundaries of technical feasibility of cots P&C insurance software packages.
Design operational and analytical reports to meet business requirements.
Define and develop interfaces with third party systems to improve user experience and increase automation.
Collaborate with product implementation team to ensure they understand the scope of every product feature.
Assist quality assurance team with test cases, test execution and defect prioritization.
Work with UX team in creating wireframes and prototypes.
Identify new product features and develop user stories to define them.
Manage the product backlog and groom it on a regular interval for sprint planning.
Lead rating analysis and configuration using insurancenows excelrater.
Document management forms requirements, data mapping and implementation.
Implement interfaces with third party solutions by understanding interface architecture and design solutions to achieve optimal value.
Anticipate, negotiate, and resolve business design issues before they impact project success.
Desired Profile:
Using InsuranceNow’s ExcelRater to lead rating analysis and configuration.
Integrating policy administration systems with third party application line including LexisNexis and CoreLogic.
Delivering applications using Spring Framework in the application layer.
Using JavaScript, Web Services, XML, and Velocity Script Knowledge to configure InsuranceNow.
Designing UI using AJA, HTML, and JQuery.
Developing UX, including creation of wireframes, prototypes and messages to ensure the application meets end user goal.
Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/ knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/ knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." *Telecommuting Permitted.
This position requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of work experience in the job offered or in a closely related occupation.
In the alternate, will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or in a closely related field plus 7 Years of work experience in the job offered or in a closely related occupation.
