Position

Falkonry is growing from 50 to 150 people and we’re looking for our first formal People professional. Our HR Administrator will have formal training in talent management, will easily switch hats between recruiting the next generation of talent, keeping our growing team happy, and being helpful around the office. You will ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication as well as assist in achieving ambitious talent goals and world-class people practices. You should be a self-starter, possess a professional demeanor, and be motivated to build on talent management knowledge. The ideal candidate is well-networked, is a joy to work with, and roots for their team no matter who they are up against.

Organization Stuff

  • Reports to: Business Operations Manager

  • Works with: Executive team and all company employees.

Responsibilities

  • As the first full-time HR Administrator for our global company, you will: Drive recruitment projects from beginning to end

  • Non-executive - technical and front office

  • Communication and coordination

  • Offer, onboarding and initial support

  • Best practices in the job lifecycle

Talent Management

  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures

  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees

  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management

  • Employee career planning

Organize and maintain a welcoming space

  • Work with vendors and providers to produce the best effect for the workforce and visitors

  • Plan in-house or off-site events such as meetings, special events, and retreats

  • Serve as the go to person for all general office maintenance and errands

Qualifications

  • Degree in HR management or equivalent experience (essential)

  • 2 or more years of experience as an HR Administrator (essential)

  • Strong desire to achieve differentiated HR management performance

  • Good time management skills and proven ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • Networking acumen and a broad network within Silicon Valley

  • A global mindset to work with and engage diverse, distributed team members

  • Detail-oriented with an innate desire to delight
