The candidate must have strong analytical skills and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.</p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><br></p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects and create high-level design and architecture of the solution, including class, sequence, and deployment infrastructure diagrams</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Take ownership of technical solutions from design and architecture perspective for projects in presales phase as well as on-going projects</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Prior experience with application delivery using an Onshore/Offshore model</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with gathering end user requirements and writing technical documentation</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Time management and multitasking skills to effectively meet deadlines under time-to-market pressure</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Suggest innovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends to sales team</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Review the architectural/ technological solutions for ongoing projects and ensure right choice of solution</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Work closely with sales team and clients to understand their business, capture requirements, identify pain areas, accordingly, propose an ideal solution and win business</li></ul><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>Desired Profile:</strong></p><ul><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Must have total 14+ yrs. in IT and 3+ years’ experience working as a snowflake Data Architect and 8+ years in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Must have experience at least two end-to-end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Expertise in Snowflake – data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, and lake-house patterns</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques using Python</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods, and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with data security and data access controls and design</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with Azure data storage and management technologies such as ADLS</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning and troubleshoot</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems, proactively and as issues surface</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Must have expertise in Azure Platform as a Service (PAAS)</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable)</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Should be able to troubleshoot problems across infrastructure, platform, and application domains</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Must have experience of Agile development methodologies</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Strong written and communication skills</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication</li></ul>","isHybridJob":true,"isRemoteJob":false,"exclusiveJob":false,"jobCatagories":[],"maxExperience":"18","minExperience":"14","isOnPremiseJob":false,"onBehalfOfName":"Orion Innovation","otherlocations":[],"experienceLevel":"Mid / Senior","numberOfOpenings":"1","maxSeniorityLevel":6,"minSeniorityLevel":3,"otherJobReference":null,"sharpenedJobTitle":"Solutions Architect","job_category_group":3,"growthOppurtunities":[],"portalLocationDisplay":"Chennai TN","expertise_coreskill_or_product":["Other"],"job_id":"2248"}
