Specific deliverables will be to support implementation and management of IBM Guardium and Imperva jSonar database monitoring solutions, and therefore you should have experience with core DBMS technologies including, but not limited to Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL, AWS RDS.<br /></div><div class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><br /></div><div class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br /></div><ul><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Troubleshooting software and/or hardware issues/failures<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Performing installation, testing, monitoring, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Managing system/application environment and ongoing operations<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Proactively monitoring and reporting performance and utilization of assigned technologies<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Performing solution design architecting, capacity planning, and configuration/deployment of Guardium GIM, S-TAP, jSonar/SonarG.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Office locations include Providence, RI or Pittsburgh, PA, but we are open to remote employment within the United States (during Eastern time business hours) for an experienced candidate.<br /></span></li></ul><div class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Desired Profile:</b><br /></div><ul><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>2-4 years of experience in Systems and Information Security administration, with at least 1-2 years professional experience related to database compliance and security monitoring.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Experience with Guardium installation, monitoring and maintenance.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Experience with jSonar product suite<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Experience with database monitoring technologies, interfaces, and integration<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Experience across operating systems, applications, and database, with the ability to identify functional interrelationships that are pertinent to security monitoring via logs, events, transactions, and other logical indicators of system activity.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Scripting experience across various platforms, including Linux, PowerShell, API calls, etc. helpful<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCS, or other IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments, with focus on logging functionality (e.g. Cloudwatch).<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Working knowledge of core database platforms: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2/LUW, Mongo, Mysql and PostgreSQL<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Functional understanding of core networking concepts (e.g. – TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, NetFlow, proxy, load-balancing, etc.).<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Experience managing Linux, Windows, and/or VMware server systems a plus.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Database administration experience a plus.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Demonstrated communication skills – both written and verbal.<br /></span></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff, including management and executives, with experience articulating technical material in business terms.</span><br /></li><li class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required, along with a high technical competency to perform the needed responsibilities.<br /></span></li></ul><div class=\"align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><br /></div></span><br />","isHybridJob":false,"isRemoteJob":true,"noOfOpenings":1,"maxExperience":"10","minExperience":"5","isOnPremiseJob":false,"onBehalfOfName":"Citizens","otherlocations":[],"zohoCurrencyIn":"USD","experienceLevel":"Mid / Senior","zohoNoOfOpenings":{"noOfOpenings":1,"fulfillmentIds":["557706000017369001-1"]},"otherJobReference":null,"sharpenedJobTitle":"Principal Security Engineer -
