As the Head of End User Architecture, you will be instrumental in bringing innovative ideas to fruition. Your role will be central to the successful integration of disruptive technologies within the organization. This role will provide architectural leadership and oversight at a Department Platform level, including all of its technical product sets. This role has a delivery mindset. The Head of End User Architecture will work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, including: business development, product management, software engineering, cyber-security and departmental executives to drive tangible results. The candidate is also capable of presenting designs and ideas to an Architecture Review Board and to Technology and business senior management.
The Head of End User Architecture will be responsible for:
Providing Architectural leadership and guidance to the End User Services department (Colleague Technology)
Contributing to the collective vision for technology and services within Colleague Technology Services by peering with Engineering and Product Leads
Documenting the strategy and roadmap for the Colleague Technology capability
Managing a team of Solution Architects
Having a pulse on the broader industry, including compute, collaboration, and workspace trends, and bringing them back to craft the next gen capabilities we can offer our Colleagues.
Introducing and adopting new transformational technologies.
Participating in architecture reviews with teams of software, network and cloud engineers to ensure that solutions meet current enterprise standards; ensuring the cybersecurity of proposed solutions. Applying specialized knowledge of industry standards or practices to assigned initiatives.
Collaborating (in a dotted line fashion) with the Enterprise Architecture team – serving as a conduit between Enterprise Architects and the internal team.
Facilitating the design and management of solution architectures provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused across the portfolio, ensuring that architecture is consistent with enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of solutions architecture or enterprise architecture experience
Experience with multiple IT disciplines with a confirmed understanding of relevant architectural concepts
Experience using system and process analysis
Strong communication skills; ability to facilitate technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders
Experience designing cloud-native applications, an API-first approach, SaaS, CASB, or IaaS/PaaS principles.
A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or a related field
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the financial services industry or related regulatory industries; understanding of the role of consumer and custodial banks; experience handling sensitive financial data
Strong business analysis, solutions crafting, interaction management and presentation skills.
Experience in cybersecurity

Required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technology discipline
