The Data Architect will provide technical guidance to software development teams. The Data Architect's responsibilities include leading the data committee, gathering requirements, and defining data models and data solutions. In addition, the position will work to define software feasibility, running data reviews, assess current databases in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and oversee data development teams.
Responsibilities:
Building and maintain Enterprise Data Model to meet the company's needs.
Assessing the data architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
Resolving technical problems as they arise.
Providing supervision and guidance to development teams.
Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes were needed.
Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have impacting data.
Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes.
Assist in the collection and documentation that will support data development.
Develops and maintains relationships with cross-functional and internal customer organizations.
Provide technical, systematical, or hypothetical prototyping as needed.
Qualifications:
10+ years working in various technical environments including data architecture, programming experience, preferably in building enterprise web solutions.
3+ year experience enterprise data designs
Understanding / Experience in Agile Development a plus. Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Dev Ops, and standard Microsoft development environments are required.
Familiarity with a broad range of systems and application technologies spanning financial systems, BPM, Low code/No Code, ERP, APIM, Event hubs and application integration technologies.
