Orion is looking for Azure cloud architect for Implementation Cloud migration project plans, and execute against them, Lead the design, planning and implementation of complex IT infrastructure solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Build application portfolio analysis to identify candidate applications and workloads for migration to the Cloud
Support business development and proposal work
Develop pricing and cost models for migration engagements, while ensuring risks are understood and mitigated
Validate technical feasibility and target solution architects options.
Desired Profile:
14+ experience in Working with the customer to establish Cloud migration roadmaps and priorities and get implementation signoff.
Good domain expertise of cloud infrastructure compute, network, and storage as well as the cloud control plane
Good Knowledge of virtualization, containers, service-mesh, and enterprise service business
Good Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, cloud deployments, and on
Good Knowledge and understanding of key differences between most popular cloud provider solutions and cloud orchestration tools.
Database migration experience to Azure Cloud (Lift and Shifting & Re-platform).
Database re-architect to Azure Cloud.
Reducing Database tech debt, operation efficiency and reduce database cost experience is a must.
