You will play a variety of roles including conceptualization of quality assurance and test plans, hands-on development of the java technology stack to support Gherkin/Cucumber based tests, implementing and executing test automation, test reporting and creating relevant documentation to support overall application compliance for complex, multi-tier applications.&nbsp;</p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><br></p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Create and implement test plans by analyzing and reviewing project requirement documents&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business to help define acceptance test criteria&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Estimate and develop Java-based test automation using ATDD/BDD tools&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Design, develop, test, maintain and execute scripts across different test environments for consistency&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Ability to execute test cases manually (if needed) based on business requirements and maintain traceability&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Work closely with software development team to enhance testing through in-depth understanding of the system and source code under test and to report, reproduce and debug issues&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Configure and schedule test automation within a Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Create automated test cases, execute and report defects, daily test status as well as overall testing status&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Motivated team player, with very strong analytical, diagnostic and debugging skills&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Strong verbal communication and writing skills</li></ul><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>Desired Profile:</strong></p><ul><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Bachelor’s Degree required</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">US Citizenship&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">3+ years of work experience&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile / iterative development methodologies&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience in manual test creation, test execution and defect management&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Significant hands-on experience in automation testing framework design, development of automated tests using ATDD/BDD tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, Junit, etc.&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience in writing acceptance tests using the Gherkin language&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Good knowledge in OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages (Java, etc.)</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Mentor junior team members, drives automation using framework and its re-use&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience in build &amp; release frameworks like Maven/Gradle, CI tools like Jenkins/Teamcity, writing SQL, using IDE’s such as Eclipse/IntelliJ and source code repositories such as GIT&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Nice to have knowledge and experience with API/web services testing and its automation.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Nice to have knowledge and experience in performance testing.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Nice to have knowledge and experience in accessibility testing and its automation.&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Adheres to development standards, software development lifecycle processes.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Constantly seeks ways to improve processes for increased agility and quality.</li></ul>","isHybridJob":false,"isRemoteJob":false,"exclusiveJob":false,"hiringManager":"Web Imitation","jobCatagories":[],"maxExperience":"8","minExperience":"3","isOnPremiseJob":true,"onBehalfOfName":"Publicis Sapient","otherlocations":[],"experienceLevel":"Mid / Senior","numberOfOpenings":"1","maxSeniorityLevel":6,"minSeniorityLevel":3,"otherJobReference":"","sharpenedJobTitle":"Senior Associate QA","job_category_group":3,"growthOppurtunities":[],"portalLocationDisplay":"Virginia","educationQualification":"Baccalaureate Degree","expertise_coreskill_or_product":["Quality Assurance"],"job_id":"2682"}
