This will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system. The candidate will also be expected to provide technical leadership and architectural support. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills.</p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><br></p><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Design and develop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Develop conceptual and technical design including use of OOA and OOD techniques.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Effectively model organization business processes and integrate them with existing Enterprise systems and capabilities.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Estimate and plan iterative / agile releases</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Demonstrates ability to work with system owners, business owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Meet with business and system owners to understand and document desired system requirements.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Work with business users to gather requirements, write functional and technical specifications.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Mentor junior team members</li></ul><p class=\"ql-align-justify\"><strong>Desired Profiles:</strong></p><ul><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration, development, and package implementations</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Minimum 4 years of experience with Java and Java-based technologies.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance.&nbsp;</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Demonstrates ability to do technical design and development using Java (JDK 1.7 or above) technologies including JSP and Servlets</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Must have experience with Struts, Spring, and Hibernate</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with front-end technologies such as javascript, css, and jQuery is desired</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with web services (such as CXF) and Jenkins is desired</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with Microservices and APIs is desired</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Is able to use integrated development environments (IDE) such as Eclipse, Java Compilers, and build tools like Maven to develop and troubleshoot issues</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Familiar with SQL and/or experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience working with MongoDB is desired</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Solid understanding of all parts of Software Engineering (e.g. Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience working in agile or iterative SDLCs</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Experience with Object Oriented Technologies.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Ability to work with key owners and stakeholders to document requirements</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Ability to learn new technologies quickly</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Proven leadership skills to independently manage a track of work with 3 - 5 people, during various phases of the project lifecycle.</li><li class=\"ql-align-justify\">Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University&nbsp;</li></ul>","isHybridJob":false,"isRemoteJob":false,"dateRecieved":"20211019000000","exclusiveJob":false,"isJDVerified":true,"hiringManager":"Web Imitation","maxExperience":"10","minExperience":"5","isOnPremiseJob":true,"onBehalfOfName":"Publicis Sapient","otherlocations":[],"experienceLevel":"Mid / Senior","annotationStatus":1,"maxSeniorityLevel":6,"minSeniorityLevel":3,"otherJobReference":"","sharpenedJobTitle":"Senior Java Developer","job_category_group":3,"portalLocationDisplay":"Virginia","educationQualification":"Baccalaureate Degree","expertise_coreskill_or_product":["Software Development","Java"],"expertise_functional_area_hiring_team":"","job_id":"2683"}
