We are looking for a highly organized, talented and digitally savvy Accountant who can adapt to the needs of a fast growing global business. You will have an opportunity to work with departments outside Finance to support their business needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively maintain our US and India entities’ general ledgers, including departmental coding of bills and expenses, the preparation of journal entries, cost allocations of shared costs and account reconciliations
  • Understand and maintain foreign currency consolidations and eliminations during the month-end close process
  • Prepare financial reporting packages, including trended financials, variance analysis, quarterly financial presentations, and investor reporting
  • Perform invoicing and manage receivables in accordance with company policies to ensure revenue recognition is performed accurately and customer payments are received as expected
  • Maintain oversight of vendors, bills, expenses, and purchases to ensure efficient accounts payable function and maintain compliance with company policy, accurate coding and complete documentation for their tax compliance 
  • Prepare and run regular and one-time payroll for global entities ensuring tax compliance and timeliness
  • Help implement and maintain appropriate accounting policies, processes and internal controls
  • Improve existing processes, controls, and documentation, suggest and implement improvements to scale and automate manual procedures
  • Collaborate with key-cross-functional partners including our deals team, legal, finance and others on a variety of projects
  • Support the accounting team on critical accounting projects, including the implementation of system improvements and other ad-hoc items

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting 
  • 4 years of commercial accounting experience
  • ​​Solid accounting skills related to booking journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
  • Prior experience with sub-ledgers and accounting related SaaS software packages
  • Preferred Attributes :
  • Adept at using online accounting systems or ERP and Google Workspace Suite, including Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and revenue recognition principles
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work in small teams and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
