What you will do:

The Vice President, Consulting will provide consulting services to GEP Clients in the areas of procurement sourcing & outsourcing. S/he will respond to inquiries and requests for proposals for consulting services, and deliver one-on-one technical assistance to clients in the areas of procurement for Banking & Financial Services domain.


Responsibilities:
  • Respond to consulting inquiries to determine potential clients.
  • Develop consulting work plans and prepare written consulting proposals.
  • Deliver consulting services through phone consultations and site visit.
  • Identify, define, develop and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiency, mitigate risk, resolve issues and achieve cost savings for GEP and our clients
  • Generate and manage revenue. P&L responsibility.
  • Share in client, practice and performance management including project team management and the development of our team
  • Monitor and direct others to act in accordance with company initiatives, processes and methodology

What you should bring:

  • 10-15 years relevant work experience with a minimum of two years recent similar expertise required "Big 4" consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of consulting engagements with proven track record. Strong project/program management skills.
  • Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication & analytical skills, leadership skills, self-motivation
  • Must be flexible to travel up to 30%.
  • Should have a very strong academic record with a BA or BS from a top tier school, MBA or Master’s degree highly preferred.
  • Moderate to heavy travel required (30%-50% of time).
  • Proficient in MS office applications including Word, PowerPoint & Excel (ability to create formulae & to analyze data is required
