Job Description

Ascendum Solutions is looking for a Sr. Business Development Representative with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. Sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional communication skills and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy while retaining marketing partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Responsible for initiating contact with potential customers to generate and qualify leads, promote the company's products and services, and identify sales opportunities
  • Uncover new opportunities in existing relationships to grow vertically
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Partner with all sales channels in the pre-sales process to position document management and business process software solutions services by understanding the customer’s mission critical requirements, to foster a convincing solution to meet business needs
  • Conduct consultation discovery sessions directly with prospects and customers
  • Positioning Ascendum Solution’s services to drive competitive differentiation
  • Own and deliver roll-out of new offerings and services to new and existing accounts through sales team meetings
  • Research and evaluate new industry leading best practices related to mobile solutions, database design and analytics, integration methodologies, custom application development, software quality assurance, design services, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure that requirements are met
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioning
Desired Profile:
  • Minimum of 6+ years proven track record in sales or related market within Information Technology or Digital Transformation: SDLC, UX/UI Design, Mobile Development, QA, Data Science and Analytics
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
  • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner
  • Prior experience working within the healthcare domain
  • Prior experience selling UX/UI design services
  • BA or BS degree
